Savannah’s Mitzvah Project

Savannah & Dennis

Dear Friends and Family,

In January 2018, my grandfather, Dennis Aarons had a sudden heart attack that sadly ended his life. He was just 78 years old and this devastating loss was, and will forever be, felt throughout our family; but his memory remains always in our hearts.

My Bat Mitzvah project, in honor of my grandfather

My grandfather was an accomplished and talented artist and sculptor. We both shared a love of art, and spent many hours working on different projects together. For my Bat Mitzvah project, I have decided to honor my Grandfather’s memory and continue his love for art onto the next generation by helping a local art studio with their needs. I am raising money to help the Art Guild of Port Washington buy new supplies for their students and volunteering my time in a weekly class with young artists.

About The Art Guild

The Art Guild of Port Washington, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing encouragement, education and a forum for the appreciation of the visual arts. The Guild seeks to offer residents from local and neighboring communities an avenue to broaden their creative pursuits by striving to: Encourage, Educate, Explore and Exhibit. It is an organization open to all people with a common goal to advance the visual arts.

Join me!

You can support my Mitzvah Project and the Art Guild by clicking on the link below and donating to raise money for this important organization that will help to support a new generation of artists.

Because…

Every dollar raised will be directly donated towards the purchase of much needed art supplies for the Art Guild .You can also choose to purchase new art supplies and drop them off directly at the Art Guild which is located at Elderfields Preserve, 200 Port Washington Boulevard in Port Washington.

Thank you!

The more funds and supplies I raise, the more young artists I can help. Please know that no amount is too little and that every dollar counts. I thank you in advance for reading my story, helping me honor my Grandfather’s memory and making sure others learn about the wonderful art programs being offered at the Art Guild of Port Washington.

Sincerely,

Savannah
