Please join us at our Annual Membership Meeting! Learn what we are planning for the future and watch the incredible Denis Ponsot’s demonstration! This is an important meeting, as the issues to be discussed will affect the direction in which we move over the course of the next year. We kindly ask all of our members to please attend. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the attached Proxy below prior to the meeting so your vote is counted. (Note that the Proxy is not applicable to our student members; however, they are welcome to attend the meeting).
*You do not need to be a member to attend Denis’ demonstration. This demo is open to all. Voting is restricted to members.

Unraveling the mysteries of Homer in 4 colors
Demonstration with Denis Ponsot

Denis Ponsot grew up in Queens, NY in the 1960s in a family or artists. He started painting seriously during the summer before his 16th birthday and quickly realized that this was meant to be his life’s work.
Denis went on to study the craft at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he continues to teach in the college’s Continuing Educaton program.
His specialty is watercolor, but his work spans all media including oil, pastel and ink. His work has received dozens of accolades over the years including “Best Watercolor” awards from Bayside Historical Society and Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, as well as a recent “Award of Excellence” from the Art League of Long Island.
