Each year, The Art Guild is pleased to award scholarships to deserving graduating seniors who will pursue the visual arts after high school.
This year, 49 students submitted applications for the guild’s scholarships, making the selection of the 2019 recipients challenging. After much deliberation, five finalists were chosen. Their impressive work demonstrated the sophisticated use of subject, design and medium.
The Art Guild is pleased to award a $300 scholarship to each of the following students:
Christine Chai – Plainview/Old Bethpage HS – Animation
Sarah Kim – Plainview/Old Bethpage HS – Animation, Massachusetts College of Art & Design
Emily Lee – Great Neck South, HS – User Interface Designer – Rochester Institute of Technology
Isabelle Lin – Manhasset HS – Architecture
Ashley Zhang – Plainview/Old Bethpage HS – Photography
