Modern Calligraphy with Felt Tip Markers with Howard Rose One-Day Workshop, Saturday, February 9 • 10 am – 1 pm $60

Creating elegant calligraphy, with even the simplest calligraphic tools requires…
1. Learning the structure of the letters
2. Developing confident hand coordination
3. Using your creativity to produce lettering that becomes beautiful art.

With the right hand coordination, you can make the markers print from thin to thick letters with just the pressure of your hand. The practice exercises will show the student how to build confidence by practicing the basic strokes in forming the letters.
This lettering is great for invitations, signs, notes, weddings, kids room names, any hanging room art….and much more.

Bring nothing but your creative self. Howard will supply markers and paper, and an eight-page workbook that shows all of the letters and how to create them.
